Match Report:

Merstham returned to winning ways with a 6 wicket win over Long Ditton this weekend.

Long Ditton, having been put into bat, posted a challenging 193 in 51 overs with Blackwell (43) and Ormerod (58) the pick of the batsmen. Safyan Aslam was the pick of the visitors bowlers returning figures of 5-41.

The Merstham top order all contributed to a succesful run chase inside 39 overs with Rivers (38) and Ameer Pasha (48no) top scoring for the visitors.

Merstham visit Lingfield this weekend as they continue to push for a promotion place.
