We've been delighted with the response to our on-going winter
monthly foodbank collections - and so have the places where items
have been delivered at this difficult time for many families.
We have heard from Loveworks with particular requests on what
they would really like to be donated at the next foodbank
collection, next Saturday 16th January from 12-2pm.
Just bring your items by putting them in your car boot,
driving into Quality Street, following the signs, opening the boot
or telling a volunteer how, and allowing volunteers to take our
your donations in a Covid-secure way. Further dates are Saturday
February 13th and March 13th.
The foodbank requests, in order of priority, are:
Strong Supermarket bags or 'Bags for Life'
Tins of meat casserole (ideally 2/3 tins same thing
for large families)
Tinned corn beef, ham etc
Pasta sauce
Tinned Potatoes
Tinned carrots & peas
Tinned Fruit
Tinned Custard
Small jars coffee
Toilet Rolls
Tinned fruit
Please note:
We currently do not need baked beans, soup, pulses,
tea, pasta, noodles or tinned mushrooms as we have plenty of
stock
We cannot accept perishable, out of date food,
medicines or anything containing alcohol.
Thank you for your support of local foodbanks -
Loveworks
