Gaby Mendis Memorial

Gaby Mendis sadly and very suddenly passed away on Christmas Eve 2024 having been diagnosed with lung cancer barely three weeks earlier. 

Merstham Cricket Club, husband Dil and sons Daniel and Alexander would like cordially to invite you to a day at the cricket club in Gaby’s memory. 

Gaby loved being at the cricket club with Dil and the boys, so day will start with the planting of a tree in memory of Gaby during which her ashes will be scattered nearby.

This will be followed immediately by a ‘cricket tea’ buffet for those attending. The Sunday Friendly XI match against Caterham will be starting at 1pm and all will be welcome to stay and watch the game, have a drink or two and chat.
