Merstham Disability Magics team (Magics) Cricket for Change (C4C) festival

The Merstham Disability Magics team (Magics) took part in the Cricket for Change (C4C) festival at the Beddington Academy CC on Thursday 14^th April 2011.

The competition was split into a League format in the morning followed by a Cup competition in the afternoon.

In the morning League competition, despite a narrow lost in the first game, the Magics were delighted to be runners up.

In the Cup competition in the afternoon, again a narrow loss in the first game meant the Magics were in the 3/4 play offs.  With a comfortable 50 run victory the Magics rounded off an enjoyable day.
 
A big well done to all the players who now look forward to training outside and taking part in future Surrey Trust League festivals in the Summer.
