Disability deal
Merstham Cricket Club is now the official summer base of The Surrey Learning and Physical Disability County Cricket Club squad.
The squad compete in the South East BACD County Championship playing against local rivals such as Essex and Hampshire and also face mainstream opposition.
They will train at the club every other Wednesday from April 9 to August 20, 6-8pm.
Merstham has several players with disabilities who feature in this squad, which caters for people with varying disabilities from being deaf and visually impaired to Celebral Palsy and a variety of learning difficulties.
Surrey disability will play at Quality Street on Sunday August 24, against Merstham, at 11am as part of our 150th anniversary celebrations. It is ahead of a Merstham XI taking on a Surrey Masters team, made up of former county players, as our main anniversary match.
