Cricket Nets from January 24

A tale from India of a boy scoring 1,009 runs not out reminds us that, young or old(er) we could all probably do with a bit of cricket practice before the season starts in April. Thank you to John Turner (70+ not out) for sending in the cartoon from the Daily Mail!
For those who prefer more structured and less late night coaching than in the cartoon, indoor nets practice will start again on Sunday January 24th at St Bede’s School, Redhill.
Junior times are scheduled between 12.30pm and 2.30pm (please contact the team coach for details) and age 14+ and adults from 2.30pm to 4pm.
Prospective junior players should contact the relevant age group coach/team manager or juniors co-ordinator Mike Griffin, while adults looking to join a friendly and welcoming club can contact club captain Richard Feist, via email or telephone 07896114068.
New members are always welcome, whether you are looking to enjoy social Sunday cricket or whether you are looking to join a successful Saturday league team set up which is enjoying much success. Last season both the first and second teams won promotion, while the third and fourth teams had strong seasons too.
Net times.
