Merstham lads and dads win a trophy!

A team made up of four Merstham Under 14 NEC players (Finn Harris, Jack Broughton, Craig Kenny and Anthony Maplesden) and two parents (Rob Harris and John Broughton) have won a trophy already this season.

A six-a-side tournament was held at Trinity School, Croydon, on Saturday May 28.

Teams were made up of Trinity School families, with the six Merstham Cricket Club connected players putting a team together.

Having narrowly lost the first match, they went on to win the next four matches and win the Plate competition. Included in the four victories was a victory over the eventual winners of the overall tournament.

Well done to the lads and dads!
