Surrey Lions Roadshow to visit junior training

The Surrey Pride of Lions Roadshow will come to Merstham Cricket Club's junior training night on Friday June 24.

They wlll bring their mascot, Caesar, the bowling machine so you can tell how fast you bowl, and a couple of Surrey professional players to Quality Street to help coach our large collection of youngsters from different age groups.

The format of the evening is as follows:

• 5.30 – 6pm arrival and set up
• During junior practice, an age group is taken at a time for the ‘Speed Bowling’ contest, to see how fast people bowl.  
• A Surrey player will also then make his way around the coaching groups for a Q&A/chat with the kids
• Caesar the Lion will also make an appearance on the evening
• At the end of junior practice the winners will be presented with their prizes
