NatWest Cricket Force Weekend, April 8 & 9
Our annual involvement in the NatWest Cricket Force weekend takes place on Saturday April 8 and Sunday April 9.
Cricket Force is the weekend we get the grounds' facilities ready to be used for cricket. We will be working at both grounds on the Saturday and Sunday and there will be many jobs to be done. Any little help will make the jobs a lot easier. Jobs will be listed on the website in due course.
Club volunteers are invited to come and help prepare both our grounds for the season, with jobs including much painting at Quality Street and tidying, both at Quality Street and The Ring.
Club captain Richard Feist says:
You do not need to commit to the whole day, but if you could offer just a few hours it would be much appreciated. The club is run by volunteers and has more than 200 members.
If we all offer an hour over the weekend the club’s grounds will be ready and looking great in time for the season. I hope to see you there on the day, light refreshments are offered on both days. Work is normally done between 9.30am and 4pm. Please come and support your club. This year the club will be supplying pitches for over 190 matches, so all your help will be welcome.
