Alternative Cricket Tea May foodbank collection

Our efforts to support the community via our Alternative Cricket Tea foodbank collections have been much appreciated over the winter - and they will continue now the season has started, with some slight alterations.

The May collection will be on SUNDAY 9th (as opposed to the normal Saturday) and from 10am-noon - but you can bring items to any Quality Street training sessions from week commencing Monday 3rd May.

If coming on 9th May, please remember to follow the usual one-way system. There is also no need to exit your car. A volunteer will take items out of your boot, in a Covid-secure way.

Donations will support Loveworks and St Matthew's, as well as Stripey Stork, all of whom have really appreciated your contributions so far. Please be advised that foodbanks cannot accept alcohol or medicines.

In general, donations of pasta, rice, tinned meat, fruit or veg or anything in a packet with a long shelf life (non-fresh) items, toilet rolls and sanitary products are welcome.

In particular this time, Stripey Stork are asking for:

nappies - all sizes;
wipes;
baby shampoo;
baby bubble bath/body wash;
children's shampoo;
children's bubble bath/shower gel;
adult shampoo;
shower gel;
women's deodorant;
toothpaste - adult and child;
toothbrushes - adult and child.

We thank you for supporting our initiative during the winter months and look forward to receiving any contributions you can make.
