Disability cricket day at Merstham
Merstham is one of four clubs in Surrey which will host a dedicated Disability Cricket Day this summer, in association with the Surrey Cricket Foundation, the Berkeley Foundation and the Lord's Taverners.
On Sunday July 4, Quality Street will host the Super 1s Roadshow - free disability cricket sessions in the morning, from 10.30am to noon, for ages 12-25. This will be followed by a Surrey 40 over hardball match in the afternoon.
Merstham has a close association with disability cricket, providing opportunities for players with disabilities of all kinds by running the "Magics" side who train together, play matches and have social events at Quality Street. The club has also hosted disability matches for the county in the past.
Everyone is welcome to attend the match in the afternoon. In the meantime we hope you can spread the word about this great opportunity for any players with disabilities to come and experience the great game of cricket!
