A magic day in Guildford

Merstham Magics - the club's disability side - had a triumphant day at the Surrey Cricket Centre in Guildford on March 27, winning all three of their matches and easily coming top of the table.

Batting first in an afternoon of pairs matches, they comfortably beat Rowledge Ramblers 65 to 25, then achieved their highest score of the afternoon, defeating Surrey Legends 114 to 63.

Their final match was tighter, scoring only 52, but they succeeded in holding Valley End to 39 to gain a clean sweep.

As ever, they raised their game when playing competitive matches and are looking forward to meeting these teams again at home during the summer.
