Request to update details on Play Cricket

Good afternoon Fellow MCC Members,

A few of you would have recently received an automated message from the Play Cricket website stating that Richard Pitt has added your details to Play-Cricket.com.

The emails have been generated off the back of some data quality work we are doing on the Merstham CC Play Cricket site. We won't bore you with the details save to say we need your help (as below) to try to achieve a target the ECB has set each club on Members data (all within GDPR guidelines and applies to senior members accounts only).

The emails come in two variations:

1. Asks you to set-up an account from scratch by following the link. Please make sure you complete the Date of Birth, email and address fields and then locate the "Membership & Roles" section and apply to Merstham Cricket Club. One of the clubs Play Cricket Administrators will approve your application.

2. States that you have an account already and asks you to sign-in so accounts can be merged. Please check the Date of Birth, email and address fields are completed and then locate the "Membership & Roles" section and apply to Merstham Cricket Club. One of the clubs Play Cricket Administrators will approve your application. This will not result in you having duplicate accounts to be clear and previous statistics will not be lost.
