U9 Tri-Club Tournament

On Friday night the U9 hosted reigate and horley, for a club friendly. To celebrate the end of season.

With the sun shining, bbq on and music playing. We set about playing 4 mini games one Hardball one softball format.

The opening hardball match was Reigate vs mertham. Giving children the opportunity to try hardball for the first time. Both teams played fantastic and showed off their skills.

Whilst on the softball Horley played a mixed team of Reigate and merstham. With some amazing bowling and shots being played.

Once completed Horley moved on to face Reigate for there first ever time playing hardball with a few Mertham players bolstering the team. What an achievement for them all.

Whilst merstham then hosted a mixed Reigate and merstham on the softball pitch. Again both matchs played with great team spirit and enjoyment.

To complete the fantastic evening of cricket a final super over was played with each team taking to the field. With the added pressure of  everyone watching and cheering. Each team played some fantastic shots scoring lots of runs and with only 2 runs being the difference between the teams.

With the sun setting the evening came to an end with all 3 team coming away with smiles laughter and full bellies, and slightly sore heads for the parents.
