The purpose of the MCC 100 Club is to raise funds.

The money will be paid into the cricket club bank account and be used to meet funding requests from the Club Committee, for items such as club kit, equipment, opportunities for members and the costs associated in running the cricket club.

 

Rules

  1. For a cost of £24 (i.e. £2 per month or draw) you will be allocated one number between 1 and 100 by the organiser.

  2. Each number will be issued as a ticket valid for one year which must be paid for annually.

  3. You will be eligible for the months draw in which you pay your fee and the following 11 month’s draws i.e. one year / 12 months.

  4. A draw will be made for every month of the calendar year with a monetary 1st prize of 40% of that month’s income.

  5. There will be an additional bonus 2nd prize for June and December of 30% of that months’ income.

  6. The total years monetary prizes will total 45% of the yearly income. The club will receive 55% of the yearly income.

  7. The 100 club is a private society lottery and is open to all members, parents, carers and friends of Merstham Cricket Club aged 16 or over.

  8. The draw is currently restricted to 100 entries. This may be amended by the management committee on a yearly basis each March.

  9. Payments must be made on a yearly basis annually at the club.

  10. Member’s numbers will only be entered in that months draw if their annual fee has already been paid.

  11. The draw shall be made by a club representative and will take place at the cricket club.

  12. Draw dates and times will be advertised on a regular basis by the promoter aiming to take place on the first available Saturday following the end of the month it is being made for.

  13. The winner/s will be contacted using the details provided on your membership application within one week of the draw.

  14. The name and numbers for each month’s winners will be shown in the clubhouse, in the club newsletter and on the club website.

  15. If a winner cannot be contacted, the winnings will be placed into club funds after six months.

  16. No refunds are to be given.

  17. Unless otherwise advised, a member will be deemed to have left the 100 club if his/her subscription renewal remains unpaid for a period of one month after its due date.

  18. If a member has no valid reason for missing the next year’s payment, their number may be sold to someone on the reserve list. Ticket holders will be reminded at least a month prior to their renewal date annually.

  19. Rules may be amended from time to time in which case members will be advised and they will be advertised on the club website and premises.

  20. The 100 club will be administrated by an organiser on behalf of Merstham Cricket Club. In case of any dispute the decision of the Club Management Committee is final.
