Great news! Mike Hanlon, has been short listed by the ECB for young coach of the year. This is a great achievement for Mike and is well deserved. Mike helps coach on a Friday night with the colts, runs the schools coaching program "Chance to Shine", helps with the Magics Disability cricket and coaches some adults as well as fitting in time to play at MCC.
The weekend selection will now be published in the new "Team Sheet" section of the website (available on the main menu above).
Selection for weekend of 6th/7th and July is now available.

Members are warmly invited to Quality Street on Sunday 30th June to watch the Surrey Disabilty Squad take on a team from Hampshire CCC. The teams include 10 England players, so should be a good afternoon of cricket.
The club now has two Club Membership Cards for Surrey County Cricket Club. These cards give members free access to the Members Pavilion at the KIA Oval for all LV County Championship and Yorkshire Bank 40 home matches. If you are interested in taking up this benefit please contact Terry Garrett
The East Surrey College's Painting and Decorating department recently returned to Merstham Cricket Club so their students could finish off the job of painting the inside of the clubs new pavilion which they started last April at the NatWest CricketForce event. The 16 or so youngsters are the college's full time Level 1 and Level 2 Diploma/NVQ students and this was an excellent opportunity for them all to participate in, not only for work experience but also covering a large part of the criteria of their course. It has also had a great impact on their confidence. The standard of work they have produced has been excellent with all the students involved taking great pride in every aspect and showing full commitment to the project from the beginning.
The East Surrey College staff have been extremely pleased with the professional approach of the students and the members from Merstham CC have been impressed with the quality of the work.
If you are interested in joining our junior section, please contact the Junior Administrator by email with your child's name and current school year. The junior section is oversubscribed in some age groups and where this is the case we will run a waiting list.
