The Magics took part in an exhibition of their skills in Reigate Priory before the start of the Tour of Britain leg which started in Reigate Priory. The McGillivray family were on hand to assist in the training games.

Merstham U15s cricketers, under Ian McGilivray and Colin Crouch, completed a league and cup double this season and have been named Young boys Team of the Year at the Reigate and Banstead Sports Council annual awards.

Merstham CC was named Club of the Year for our on-going commitment to support local cricket for Senior, Junior, Girls and Disability players. A special vote of thanks went to Bernard Feist for all his hard work with the ECB, Surrey CC and other funding partners during the project to upgrade the pavilion and grounds at Quality Street, which brought us recognition as as one of only three 2012 NatWest CrickForce Showcase Clubs nationally .

Another award comes our way!!!! Michael Hanlon who as everyone agrees is just about the nicest young man you will ever meet, has been awarded the league coaching award .  This is avery major award so can all the club please be aware that this is another step for us to be the local premier youth cricket club.
