Under the capainacy of Laurie Overtoon not bad there! but also a great batting display.  Gus Locke who celebrated his 12 th birthday, 30 not out. a controlled and precise performance. a great prospect for the future. Thank to Zoe and Tony and some of the other parents for some lovely nibbles   

THanks to Simon and Maria for making all the Friday Sat. Sun. world cup nights a big SUCCESS. What would it have been like if England had reached the final. We will never know!

At Quality Street today the Merstham U11 became league champions with a game to spare.  The game was won in the field with some amazing bowling, catches, and backing up.  What a great bunch of lads supported by some loyal parents, and Simon and Maria.

The Merstham CC Fantasy Cricket League. Just pick your own team packed with your favourite Merstham CC players and guide them through the season. There will be prizes for Manager of the Month as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the end of the season

Merstham welcomed Alec Stewart, Tim Linley and Gary Wilson to kick start NatWest Cricket Force 2010 at Quality Street. It was a good turn out all round with a mixture of Captains, Committee members and Juniors with parents arriving to help out and much work was done. Thanks very much if you came and helped us out.

MERSTHAM CRICKET CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

In accordance with club rules, formal notice is hereby given that the above Annual General Meeting will be held at the Reigate Manor Hotel on Tuesday 19th January commencing at 8pm.

Merstham 3rd X1 had their best season ever in the Fullers league securing runners up spot and promotion to the Surrey championship.

This afternoon the commitee recieved confirmation that Merstham Cricket Club is now a Fully ClubMark Accredited club. we are waiting confirmation but this will hopefully also mean that we are a Focus club for Surrey too.

A big congratulations to everyone at the club as the work of all members has made this possible
