A great hog roast was had by Daniel and Emma today! A fantastic day at the Club, enjoyed by many family and friends, after the wedding yesterday at St Catherines Church in the village. Best wishes from all of us to your future.
The following has been received from a team that played the Sunday 2nds earlier in the season!
"Thanks for the fixture on Sunday just passed. I thought i would throw you a quick email to once more thank you for the opportunity and for your hospitality. Great tea's, a fabulous ground in quite beautiful surroundings, (particularly on the sunny day that we lucked out on) and a thoroughly nice bunch of players! I have to say that combine that with some great burgers, a jaw-dropping scoreboard and one of the greatest Wimbledon finals in modern history and it almost makes our loss on the day slightly easier to take! Anyhow, thanks once more - nice scoring Mark (it was me who EVENTUALLY bowled you, sorry), and i really hope we can arrange a fixture for next year so that, as a very new side, we might have more experience and be able to put up a little more resistance and have another corker of a Sunday afternoon in 2010. Good luck with the season - hope you have plenty more days like Sunday - our webiste is up and running now and the scorecard is up and a match report to follow soon, I'm sure Mr Powell will enjoy reading his average of 1 wicket per 2 runs scored (great performance!). www.rsccc.co.uk"Having won their final league game of the season the U10's are ESCL league champions. U15" have won the league honours too! just missing out on the cup reaching the final. and the U13"s are there too top spot after beating Lingfield in a very close game last Sunday! What a season......In the next week when all the results are in we will publish a full list. Come down and support the teams and enjoy the evening meeting friends!
Well done to all the players for their hard work in training with Dan and all the coaches who gave up there free time.
